Nicholas joins as Hivelocity brings their newest Tampa data center, TPA2, online to support demand from its dedicated cloud and colocation customer bases. TPA2 is Hivelocity’s first greenfield data center construction and is located 15 minutes east of Downtown Tampa.
Rick Nicholas has spent more than ten years in the Central Florida data center and hosting markets, most notably as Partner and COO of E Solutions, a data center in Downtown Tampa, prior to selling it to WOW! Business, a publicly traded cable company. At WOW! Business, he led their national cloud, and data center business and completed the acquisition of a cloud, fiber and data center business in Columbus, Ohio. At Hivelocity, Nicholas is responsible for the data center business, product development and expansion through acquisitions. Nicholas holds degree from Wake Forest University.
