Hivelocity announced this week the launch of its new cloud hosting and virtualization specialty site www.SparkNode.com. SparkNode offers cloud hosting plans including Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Cloud Virtual Machines (VMs) either of which can be signed up and deployed within seconds.

SparkNode emphasizes simplicity and ease of use throughout the entire customer experience. The SparkNode site offers customer’s just 2 paths of products depending on each customer’s needs. For customers looking for an inexpensive virtualized cloud server that can be instantly setup with limited scalability and redundancy there is the VPS option. For customers requiring high availability, fault tolerance, increased scalability and the ability to add or delete new nodes within the customized resource allocation, there is the Cloud VM option. Once a customer has chosen which product is best for them, they simply choose the CPU, RAM and Disk Space they want and they are off and running.

“When we began the SparkNode project our top priority was the end-user experience and simplicity of use. From start to finish we have focused on making each interface our customers interact with simple to use and easy to understand. Choosing your customized resources and signing up is incredibly simple and the management-interface after deployment is very intuitive. Just because the technology behind the scenes is complex the customer experience doesn’t have to be. I think we have accomplished this with SparkNode and we are excited to introduce it,” says Hivelocity General Manager, Steve Eschweiler.

SparkNode allows customers to choose from several Linux distributions or Windows editions as well as add cPanel or Plesk control panels.
