How to backup a copy of apache?

Fire the following command to take a backup of apache on your server:

cp -a /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf.bak

Above is for Centos users

For Ubuntu users ,please refer the following :-

sudo cp /etc/apache2/apache2.conf /etc/apache2/apache2.conf.bak
