A Windows or Linux virtual private server is a method of partitioning a physical server computer into multiple servers. Each virtual server runs its own Linux OS.
Each partitioned server has the appearance and capabilities of running on its own dedicated machine. Each virtual server runs its own operating system (Windows or Linux), and each server can be independently rebooted.
